Privacy notice
How your email is handled when you download the free PDF of Marketing (is not) driven by dummies.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Emiliano Tomasoni, reachable at ciao@emilianotomasoni.com.
What is collected, and why
The download form asks for your email address (required) and your name (optional). The PDF downloads directly from the page; your email is used for one purpose only: letting Emiliano know who is reading the book, by keeping a register of the people who downloaded it.
Your email is not used for marketing or newsletters, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes. If that ever changes, it will only happen with your separate, explicit consent.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to ciao@emilianotomasoni.com; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Who processes the data
- Formspree (formspree.io) processes the form submission and forwards it to the controller. Formspree may process data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers its pages and files.
Submissions are not published anywhere: they are visible only to the controller, in the Formspree dashboard and by email.
How long it is kept
Your email is kept for up to 12 months after your request, and deleted sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your data, or to object to its use, by writing to ciao@emilianotomasoni.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Anything else
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. This site does not use tracking cookies.
